Let’s get you set up on Kit

Free migrations are available for any creator on a paid Kit plan.

Nothing! We want to get you all set up for success and part of that means treating you to a free migration. Let’s get your foundation set so you can get to growing.

At minimum, we’ll move your subscribers and tags. But if you’re bringing over more than 5,000 subscribers and you’d like more help, we can help with forms, emails, automations, email templates, and your third-party tools.

If you have a large amount of content or automations you need moved, our team may ask that you help with your migration or recommend that you hire one of our Certified Migration Experts to facilitate your migration.

Each migration is different because we customize each migration to your needs—and the needs of every creator are different. While it depends what your needs are, we typically see three different migration timelines:

• Standard migration: 7-10 business days (see details)

If you have any urgency or deadline request, please let us know in your request. Our team will get back to you within one business day to provide you with a migration plan.

We have some incredible friends who can help you if you’re in a time crunch.

There’s a lot going on behind the scenes that takes time and we want to make sure you don’t miss a step with your people. That’s why we recommend you keep using your current platform to connect with your audience during the migration.

We do our best to work with any marketing or launch timeline you have. If your launch runs over 2-3 weeks or affects your email marketing setup, we recommend you wait until we’ve finalized the switch. If it’s a simple launch, go for it! No need to keep the people waiting for your next big thing.

It’s best to let your subscribers finish out any automations they’re currently in before moving them over. There’s no safe way to move subscribers over to Kit at a specific point in an email sequence or set of automated emails.

Our goal is to help make the switch to Kit as easy as possible for everyone and we’ll help however we can. We’d ask that you go ahead and submit your migration request for our team to review. From there, we’ll work together with you to create a customized plan to help you make the switch.
