Any creator knows that migrating your email list is like messing with your life blood. The migration went extremely smoothly and my business is now booming on ConvertKit.
Nothing! We want to get you all set up for success and part of that means treating you to a free migration. Let's get your foundation set so you can get to growing.
That depends. The pieces we move from your previous platform to ConvertKit and the amount of those pieces are tied to the type of migration you choose.
At minimum, we'll move your subscribers and tags. But if you're bringing over more than 5,000 subscribers and you'd like more help, we can handle forms, emails, automations, email templates, and your integrations.
Step 1. Click here and let us know how many subscribers you have and what platform you are moving from.
Step 2. Choose the migration option that best suits your needs.
Step 3. Fill out the migration submission form as detailed as you can.
It's a bit of a Goldilocks and the Three Bears situation. Here are a few things to consider:
Again this depends on a couple things like the amount of moving pieces you have and your personal timeline. But in general, a standard migration can take between 2-3 weeks.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes that takes time and we want to make sure you don't miss a step with your people. That's why we recommend you keep using your current platform to connect with your audience during the migration.
And for that last day when we push everything live on ConvertKit, we definitely recommend not planning any large campaigns or sending.
Can I answer that question with a question?
How long will your campaign last? If it takes longer than a standard migrations (2-3 weeks) or you plan on changing anything about your email marketing setup based on that campaign, it may make sense to wait.
If it's short and sweet, go for it! No need to keep the people waiting for your next big thing.
We have some incredible friends who can help you if you're in a time crunch.
That's a little tricky. There's no safe way to move subscribers over to ConvertKit at a specific point in an email sequence or set or automated emails. It's best to let your subscribers finish out any automations in they're currently in before moving them over.
Yep! But only if you're bringing over more than 5,000 subscribers.
These are the integration partners we currently work with. All you'll need to do is add the details in the migrations sign-up form and we'll handle it.
