<p>When ConvertKit began 11 years ago, TikTok didn’t exist, Instagram didn’t have reels, and the job everyone vied for was software engineering. Back then, when people talked about creators, it was done with air quotes and people didn’t believe in your potential to earn a full-time living with your work.</p>
<p>Today, <a href="https://www.antler.co/blog/the-creator-economy-boom-what-it-is-whats-driving" target="_blank" rel="noopener">29% of American high school students</a> have “creator” as their preferred career choice.</p>

<h2>We’re building the operating system for the creator economy</h2>
<p>You’ve done a lot with ConvertKit over the years (like sending <strong>112.3B</strong> emails, earning <strong>$32.1M</strong> through <a href="https://convertkit.com/features/commerce" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ConvertKit Commerce</a>, and gaining <strong>5.8M</strong> subscribers from Recommendations), but we know that’s only the beginning.</p>
<p>With improvements to our core product, a new app store, and a new free plan, we’re looking forward to seeing what you do next. ConvertKit (Soon to be Kit) is the place for creators to take their business seriously, learn how best to grow and monetize, and operate their business.</p>
