New Integration: WooCommerce

Build Your Audience

Lately our support inbox has been filled with requests for a WooCommerce integration. So I'm thrilled to announce that we have it finished!

You can now subscribe your WooCommerce customers to any form, course, or tag in ConvertKit. Let's walk through how it works.

Connecting ConvertKit to WooCommerce

First download, install, and activate the plugin.

Then visit WooCommerce > Settings > Integration and add in your ConvertKit API key. Screen Shot 2015-09-14 at 9.33.45 AM

Then you can enable the integration with a checkbox. You'll also want to decide which form, course, or tag customers should be added to.

Optional Opt-in

If you want to give new customers the option to opt-in to your list (rather than doing it by default) you can check the box to “Display an opt-in checkbox on checkout.”

Per-product subscriptions

Those options are for subscribing all customers to one thing. But you'll probably also want to add customers to ConvertKit based on what they purchased. To do that edit an individual product.

In the sidebar you'll find this option:

You can select any form, tag, or course. This is most used for tagging someone to the exact product they purchased. Then you can exclude them from a marketing sequence, follow-up with customers of just that product, or anything else.

If you want to tag them and add them to a form or course you can do that with an automation rule inside ConvertKit.

Download the plugin

To summarize, using this plugin you can subscribe all your customers to something in ConvertKit, but then also make individual subscriptions based on which product is purchased.
